The AK-74 Buffer PRIME™ from Specna Arms x KPYK® is one of the best-equipped airsoft AK platforms on the market. It combines a PRIME™ series steel receiver, premium internal components and genuine external accessories from the Ukrainian company KPYK® (KRUK), originally designed for real firearms. The result is a rifle with maximum realism, excellent durability and top-tier performance straight out of the box. Thanks to the KPYK® CRC 1U004 aluminum M-LOK handguard, top RIS rail and retractable AR15 stock, you get a modern AK setup ready for both CQB and outdoor gameplay. The manufacturer also used a low-profile MAGNUS™ TDC hop-up chamber, allowing enough space under the dust cover for a TITAN 11.1V 3000 mAh Stick Li-Ion battery, which we highly recommend for this rifle. On the side, you will also find a Dovetail mounting rail compatible with AK/SVD side mounts.

BLDC™ Internal Parts and GATE ASTER V3 ETU
Inside the rifle, you will find a reinforced V3 gearbox equipped with premium upgrade parts ready for demanding use. At the heart of the setup is the Dark Matter™ brushless motor with switchable speeds of 27,000-35,000 RPM, providing instant trigger response, higher rate of fire and lower energy consumption. Power transfer is handled by 16:1 CNC steel gears, a reinforced polycarbonate piston with 14 steel teeth and a combination of ball bearings and bushings for the ideal balance of speed and durability. Accuracy is enhanced by a 6.02 mm precision inner barrel together with a Helium Flat-Hop bucking and the MAGNUS™ TDC chamber. The GATE ASTER V3 ETU allows advanced rifle configuration including pre-cocking, binary trigger and DMR mode. Thanks to the ESA2 QSC system, you can also change the spring within minutes without disassembling the gearbox.

Warning
- Some manufacturers’ springs are significantly overrated (e.g., an M130 spring may perform like M140–150), which may exceed the declared gearbox strength. We recommend using only the included Specna Arms springs. With other brands, an M120 spring is generally the safe choice.
- When installing springs with progressive (irregular) coils, ensure the tighter coil end is placed on the spring guide facing outward from the gearbox.
- Never store the rifle with a connected battery.
- Never store the rifle with pre-cocking enabled. Always release the piston forward before storage to avoid spring damage.

Pairing the App
To pair the GCS app with the ASTER II Bluetooth® V3 unit, you must enter its pairing code found on the unit’s wiring label. Keep this label attached or store it safely. Without the code, pairing the unit with the app is not possible.
